KTrade is a premier trading application developed to modernize the investment experience in the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). Matrix Digital was responsible for building a robust, low-latency architecture that enables users to manage their portfolios, view real-time market data, and execute trades instantly.
We integrated a high-performance charting module capable of displaying real-time price action with various technical indicators. The engine is optimized to handle high-frequency data streams without draining the device's battery.
Users can track their profit/loss (P&L) performance through intuitive heatmaps and growth charts. We built a custom backend that recalculates asset valuation instantly based on global market shifts.
We developed a low-latency order management system that connects directly to the PSX servers. This ensures that users can buy and sell stocks at the exact market price they see on their screens, with execution speeds of less than 100ms.
Financial data requires the highest level of protection. We implemented 256-bit encryption, Biometric authentication (FaceID/Fingerprint), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to ensure user funds and data remain secure at all times.
The platform successfully launched with zero-downtime during peak market volatility. By focusing on a "UX-First" approach, the app achieved high user adoption and has become a staple tool for retail traders in Pakistan looking for professional-grade features on a mobile device.
